Sidney McFarlane MBE

Sidney Mcfarlane BH (M) MBE MBPsS BA (Hons) was one of thousands of Caribbeans who answered the Mother Country’s call for assistance after World War II. Traveling from Jamaica to London in 1958, following his wife Gwen, who arrived in England the year before, Sidney shares some of the challenges of arriving into a hostile environment as well as his illustrious 30 year career in the RAF.
